Growing up, I was always drawn to the intersection of art and technology. I spent countless hours experimenting in the art room and video editing, fascinated by how visual elements could communicate ideas and how technology could bring those ideas to life.
Academic Foundation
University of Michigan (UMSI)
This natural curiosity led me to the University of Michigan's School of Information (UMSI), where I discovered that my interests in creativity and technology had a name: Human-Computer Interaction. The program gave me a solid foundation in user research, information architecture, and interaction design while also building technical skills in Python, HTML, and CSS. Together, these experiences nurtured both my creativity and analytical thinking.

My professional journey at SAP has given me incredible breadth across the design spectrum. I've worked on design systems that serve thousands of designers & developers, crafted native mobile experiences for workers, designed complex web apps for enterprise users, and explored emerging AI interfaces. Outside of Work
Outside of work I love getting outdoors and staying active. Whether its hiking, running, or learning something new, I find that these activities fuel my creativity and problem-solving abilities. Something about movement and connecting with nature helps me think through challenges in new ways.
I’m also a life long learner. Recently, I've taken up learning how to play hockey which is a new challenge that's teaching me humility and the value of iterative improvement. It requires teamwork, constant practice, learning from mistakes, and adapting to rapidly changing situations. The process of building muscle memory on the ice reminds me of developing design intuition through repeated practice and experimentation.
I'm always looking to learn new skills and explore different perspectives. Beyond outdoor activities, I love diving into new technologies and finding unexpected connections between seemingly unrelated fields. This mindset of continuous learning keeps my design work fresh and helps me approach problems from unique angles.
These outdoor pursuits and learning adventures play a role in my design approach. They have taught me to get out of my comfort zone, stay curious, and adaptable.
